The Mission
Being creative is a vital part of me. I’ve drawn for as long as I can remember. As a little kid, I copied my favorites like Peanuts, Garfield, MAD and others. In elementary school, I even wrote my own short story and comic book about Turkeys prior to Thanksgiving. It was a grim, dark story. I still don’t know why they didn’t send me off to see the counselor.
Year after year, I would attend San Diego Comic Con and enjoy all the sights, sounds, and skilled artist. Lately, I realized I was as good as a few of the successful ones, but not the very popular ones. Some even started their own comics with their own website. I also attend various other conventions and enjoy visiting their art shows. The level of ability was all over the map. That oddly enough inspired me.
In 2009, I decided to get serious about achieving a long-term goal through publishing a comic. Thus the first burgeoning concepts of the web-comic began. Over a year’s worth of design, development and planning went into this project. On October 10, 2010 I launched the first page of the brand new web-comic.
This whole site is dedicated to my web-comic and a diary of the process. Hopefully this will inspire other web-comic artist to keep it up. Whether or not you like mine, at least you stopped by. I know not everyone gets my humor or understands the genre I love but that’s okay. There are thousands of other comics of various styles. One will tickle your fancy.
If you ever spot me at a gaming table, stop by and say hello. I’m a big fan of 3.5 Edition and Pathfinder RPG, so you’ll see me at local Pathfinder Society game days and conventions. Leave a comment and thanks for stopping by.
